Hebrews 12: 1-2
Thank God for Sarah's post. Indeed, this race has its tough and tiring moments. It isn't easy when we have to cope with the never-ending workload, school activities, other activities, personal problems and so on. But God wants us to lay aside every weight and fix our eyes on Jesus. Let's not depend on our own strength anymore; it is draining.
Just as in a race, where we look is important. If we look behind, if we look at the sidelines, if we look at our competitors, if we look on the ground, we will stumble and fall. Let's not focus on our circumstances and be distracted by what's going on around us but instead, fix our eyes firmly on the Lord. Remember our purpose, remember that we're doing it for Him, remember that He's always with us. He'll be here to pick us up, always.
Let's commit each and every weight that's holding us down to the Lord. He is far bigger than we can ever imagine. Let's trust Him with all that we have.
God bless. :)
